Cricket Decisions

The cricket game is assisted by two umpires. The first one’s position is behind the wicket where the bowler plays (umpire for bowling side), and the other one’s poCricket Decisionsition is at 90 degrees reported to the other wicket, behind the active batter (umpire for square leg). They can also invite a third umpire who monitors the game thanks to a camera coupled to a magneto scope.

A game is played in innings. The teams play their innings consecutively. The team which attacks is called in. The purpose of the team in is to score the highest number of runs.

The opponent team, which defends, tries to impede it, eliminating opponent batters as quickly as possible, impeding them to score. If the ten batters of a team are eliminated, this team is called all out, and the last batter, actually the unique one is called non out. The inning of this team is then over.
