The only name that conjures up more sentiment and more fervor than any other is Sachin Tendulkar’s; amongst his fellow country men he is also known as “the god of cricket”. Because of this title given to him he has to carry the burden of proving himself time and time over again. Hailing from India, where the game of cricket is synonymous to life itself, and Sachin tendulkar has proved himself over the years. He has feet planted on the ground and is here to stay; he has the awe of all of his fans, with the 3/4th of the country worshipping him.

Sachin Tedulkar made his debut and mark in the Indian cricket as school boy, who was only sixteen years old and ever since then the whole cricket team and the country look up to him. He has also been called the next Sunil Gavaskar, and he shares a relationship of deep admiration and respect with the fellow cricketer and Mumbaite. Sachin Tendulkar making his presence felt in both English tour and the Australian tour, he has always been flagged as the Hero and the rogue. No other player, not even Sunil Gavaskar, has been scrutinized for his performances in the tournaments and games. With the country calling him a Savior and Villain at the same time, many believe that he lies somewhere in the middle and is only Human.
